BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking and Payment

 

The booking request by email, post or phone is valid 7 days (48h if the reservation is scheduled in less than 1 month). After this period, the request is considered void.

 

The firm reservation takes effect upon receipt of the payment of 30% of the rental amount with a minimum of 50% of the first night by check payable in France, or by bank transfer.

 

The balance of the rent is paid in cash (a cash machine is at your disposal next to the church), by check or by bank transfer at the beginning of the stay (in cash only for a stay of less than 3 days) . Our prices include the tourist tax collected on behalf of the community of communes "Aigoual Causses Cévennes"

Cancellation / Modification of the reservation

 

By the tenant:

The cancellation by the tenant of his reservation must be signaled to the owner by mail with acknowledgment of reception or by registered mail. a) Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: if the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the amounts paid remain the property of the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the amounts paid remain owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation.

b) If the tenant does not appear on the scheduled day of arrival at the agreed time, the booking is considered canceled by the tenant. The owner can have his bed and breakfast. The amounts paid remain the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance of the price of accommodation.

c) In the event of a reduction in the length of stay by the renter, either on arrival or due to early departure, the full amount of the reserved stay remains due. The number of guests is agreed at the time of booking and can not be changed more or less than with the agreement of the owner and within the capacity of the room and Mas de la Grande Baraque. The refusal by the owner can in no case be considered as a cancellation of reservation at the initiative of the owner so that no refund can be considered.

 

By the owner:

If the owner is unable to receive the tenant, the payments made are fully refunded. The owner will do his best to help the renter find accommodation in the area on the same dates.

 

Arrival and departure

 

Unless otherwise agreed, we welcome you from 16h and until 19h the day of your arrival. The room must be vacated by 10am the day of your departure. In high season, to guarantee a quality of suitable reception, the possibilities of flexibility of the schedules of arrival and departure are very limited.

 

The renter and the owner agree at least 24 hours in advance of an approximate time of arrival. To avoid finding a closed door when you arrive or to have your reservation canceled if you arrive too late, it is important to note any significant delay in your arrival time.

 

If the number of people is not the one defined at the time of booking or if the tenant is accompanied by an animal, the owner may refuse to accommodate the tenant. This refusal can not in any case be considered as cancellation of reservation on the initiative of the owner, so that if this refusal leads to the departure of the tenant no refund can be considered.

 

In case of necessity, the owner reserves the right to modify the room chosen by the tenant for a room of the same category or higher category.

 

 

Responsabilities

 

The rental is done personally by the signatory of the contract and can not benefit even partially to third parties with the agreement of the owner. The tenant is responsible for the damages arising from his fact and must be ensured by a contract including the risks occurring in resort.

The owner is not responsible for the property of the tenant, especially in case of theft or depredation occurring in the room or concerning his vehicle parked in the property.

The pool is secured in accordance with the regulations. Children or vulnerable people are under the responsibility of accompanying adults.

 

 

Seasonal equipment

 

Some facilities including the swimming pool, reception hall, sauna and summer kitchen are not available at certain times of the year or due to weather conditions. The tenant will not be able to take advantage of the non-availability of these equipments to cancel or shorten his stay and no refund can be envisaged

 

Pets

​

Pets are not accepted. In case of departure of a tenant motivated by the refusal of his animal, no refund can be considered.

​

Use of places

​

The tenant will have to respect the peaceful character of the places and make a use according to their destination. He agrees to make the room in good condition, and not to smoke outside the outdoor area designated for this purpose. With the exception of this area, the entire site (indoor and outdoor) Mas La Grande Baraque is non-smoking. Please pay attention to the risk of fire, especially during the summer months.
